The GoFileDrop service has NO ACCESS to your Google username or password, in using the service you “authorize” GoFileDrop to deposit files in your Google Drive account using a technology known as OAuth, this is the leading technology in the field of authorizing third party Applications to enable working with services such as Google Drive and is proven to be secure.

When someone sends files to your Google Drive account using GoFileDrop those files are sent in an encrypted format and automatically deposited in your Google Drive account.

All data is backed up automatically and managed by Google’s App Engine platform which provides powerful and robust data replication and redundancy.


Login using your existing Google Apps account via OpenID or Google Account your login details are NOT accessible to the GoFileDrop service and therefore cannot be stored or compromised in any way.

All logins are protected using SSL encryption - the same security used to login to online bank accounts.


GoFileDrop, like thousands of other online services, uses Google App Engine to provide secure and scalable Applications and infrastructure.

This means that GoFileDrop runs on the same infrastructure as Google runs its own services such as Gmail.


GoFileDrop uses secure third party services to process your subscription payments, these third parties currently include Stripe, PayPal and in the case of Enterprise licensing Wire Transfers and company cheques cleared through our Corporate Banking services provided by Lloyds Bank.
